Dancers fascinate a lot of people and sometimes you get what they are doing but cannot do it as clean. Accurate implementation is the hallmark of all kinds of dance forms. Dancers spend innumerable hours to achieve those clean moves.
At SSDA , you will be given special attention with professional guidance to execute all the movements impeccably . We provide online as well as offline classes at our studio . Online classes are conducted over zoom and the recordings are provided so that you can rehearse the practise.
ALWAYS KEEP COUNT
Counts hold the dance piece together . Keep the track of the counts and you will see a lot of improvement and coordination . Perform on counts repetitively to master the moves.
MEMORY COMPUTING
Muscle memory is very essential and is the ability to repeat specific muscular movements with better efficiency and precision which is attained by rehearsal and repetition . You have to be conscious about your body to execute this . You should be aware of the moves and your body altogether.
MEMORY REINFORCEMENT
This part happens when you are not practising . This involves your part of your day when you are not exactly dancing. This includes you visualising your dance , eating healthy, getting enough rest and stretching to keep off from injuries and damage. These things affect your regime indirectly and will make your moves effortless.
UTILISE YOUR ENERGY
Dance seeks your energy and stamina. It needs the full exposure of your muscles and will need you to give your best . If you don’t put enough energy , the whole piece would feel raw and without vigour. And if you over do it then it will be too much. You need to control your energy levels at different places and be just right there.
SPEED AND TEXTURE MANIPULATION
Learning to manipulate your speed during different dynamics plays a vital role in dancing and brings change when done correctly. You are supposed to visualise the song and feel it so that you can provide texture to the various parts..
